As
the name says it is a tuning of the engine control unit (ECU). ECU
controls the whole engine and the other functions of the car. ECU
controls it according to the information received from many sensors
spread throughout the car (temperature of the engine, temperature
of the inhaled air, lambda probe speed of the driving, rotations
of the engine, position of the accelerator, gear applied, etc.). According
to this data three-dimensional diagrams or maps are constructed,
from which the obtained measurements are used to apply needed power. By
changing these parameters we can decrease the efficiency, increase
the efficiency, decrease the exhausts, and many other functions.
- Of
course the most important reason for us to do it is increased
efficiency of the engine and thusthe increased power or
maximum
possible power. Each manufacturer tune the ECU according
to the countries rules and regulations where the car is going
to be primarily used. Engine and the engine control program
must meet two basic criteria: high engine efficiency to low fuel
consumption, and limitations to exhaust and different qualities
of gasoline in that particular country. That is the reason
for engine to be tuned to meet this high demands. In case
that the car is driven in the countries with a good gasoline equality,
it is possible to tune suchengine according to the conditions
mentioned above.
-
- With
the interactive way of programming and by meeting the exhaustion
criteria, the requests of the most customers to power increase
are met. The efficiency can be increased within certain limits
+ 10% in atmospheric engines and much more in turbo engines (about
30%). Car is much more flexible, has better acceleration, and
reaches greater max speed.
- The
fuel consumption depends greatly on the way of driving. In
general, with the same way of driving, or with the same uniformed
speed the fuel consumption is the same if not less. If you
compare the efficiency curve of the serial and the tuned engine
you will find that the same engine with the same rpm (rotations
per minute) has the higher efficiency and the torque and that's
why youare able to continue in a higher gear and lower rpm
where before you would have to shift down the gear. The general
rule is that the engine with lower rpm has a lower gasoline consumption,
so the tuned engine has the lowered consumption as well.
Of course when we use the max power of the engine, the consumption
is also higher, because the second rule is also valid that: "higher
power = = higher consumption of gasoline".
-
- Engine
is composed out of many parts which make rotational or straight
movement. This moving parts determine the life-span of the engine.
Bulb-bearings are designed for certain number of cycles or rotations. Under
the normalconditions the rule is that the more rotations cause
the more abrasion of theengine. In conclusion, the correct tuning
technology cannot and will not decrease the life-span of the engine.

-
- Yes!
We archive all the original data. Any time you can return back
to your original data.
- And in all cases, we respect the manufacter parameters . Of course we do
recommend to use a high quality semi-synthetic or syntheticoils.
In certain types of the engines we do recommend the use of gasoline
with octane number 98 once they are tuned.
-
- We
offer one year guarantee for a ECU chip and tuned program.
-
-
The
same as with the non-tuned engine. All you have to realize
is that the engine will have a higher efficiency thus you might
have to take some time to get used to when driving a tuned car.
Quite another case is with the overfilled engines, where after
the tuning efficiency rises by 20kW or more. These types of cars
reach a much higher max speed. A brake system is not altered.
